Taylors Hill Youth & Community Centre’s kids drama class students are in the presence of greatness after their friendly teacher adds yet another accolade to her long list of achievements.

Jessica Gerger and her husband Andrew have won Best in Festival and the People’s Choice award at the 5th annual Altona Beach Film Festival for their short film ‘My Ghoul’. The film, set in nearby Sunshine, follows a lonely ghoul on her quest to find a man.

Adding to an extensive repertoire of achievements, students taking part in Jessica’s drama classes at Taylor’s Hill Youth & Community Centre will also learn from her previous acting and teaching experience including:

  • 10 years as a kids drama teacher
  • Tertiary study at the prestigious Drama Centre London
  • Drama teaching at
    • Anna Fiorentini Theatre and Film School in London
    • Stage Coach in the UK
    • Theatre Train in the UK
    • The Method Studio London
    • Felstead Preparatory School in the UK
    • Stage Left in Melbourne and many more

Jessica’s drama classes will begin again from 14 October – 2 December 2019 and are suitable for children aged 8-12 years. Find out more here.
