DV-alert is a nationally recognised training program led by experienced trainers dedicated to ending violence against women and children. The workshops provide a safe space for members of the community to learn, connect and be empowered to assist friends, family and peers who might be in crisis.
Free for members of the public and community to attend, this workshop will explain what domestic and family violence is and how to Recognise the signs. Attendees will learn how to Respond safely and options for Referral for the person experiencing domestic and family violence.
DV-alert training and assessment is delivered by Lifeline Australia and approved third parties on behalf of Lifeline Australia (RTO 88036). The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services as a key initiative under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032.
