This is a monthly group session held on Wed 26 April and then on the last Tuesday of each month.

Come along and chat with other people from the Afghani community, catch up with friends, meet new people and learn new skills.

The Afghani Group is an open, social, educational, and recreational group that addresses the needs of the local community. People from the Afghani community attend this group to break their isolation, make new friends, share their stories and positive experiences, increase their knowledge to integrate into the local society and participate in fun, social and recreational opportunities.

Being part of a group is an important part of human nature. Social connections and increased communication help boost a positive mindset and a sense of belonging.

These group sessions are delivered in partnership with Western Health and Stevenson House.
