This group meets weekly every Monday and Tuesday from 5pm, commencing 6 February 2024 during school terms. Excluding  public holidays.  

Come along and chat with other women from the local Afghan community, catch up with friends, meet new people while improving your English skills, allowing you to apply the language more confidently in your everyday life. Learn how to have conversations, make appointments, travel confidently and access essential services by understanding and developing your English language skills. 

Our supportive and experienced teacher will guide you through basic English skills through conversation exercises, listening, reading, and writing simple sentences. This encouraging and friendly class will include topics about the various ways we live and work in Australia. 

These group sessions are delivered in partnership with Western Health, Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services and Melton City Council.
