This is a 4-week pilot program starting 15 August, running every Thursday from 10:30am.

• Enjoy relaxation through creativity 

If so, then this four-week art therapy program may be beneficial for you. 

Through the power of creating art and engagement with art materials, you may experience reduced stress and anxiety, improved mood and self-esteem, promote relaxation and mindfulness and foster social connection with others. 

Different from an art class, art therapy focuses on empowering participants to unpack and express their feelings through creativity. This small group program is facilitated by a qualified Art Therapist, offering a range of materials and art themes. The Art Therapist adapts the activities and materials based on participants’ therapeutic needs and material preferences, remaining attuned to their emotional states. You do not need to be good at art – as art therapy is more about the process than the outcome!  

This inclusive program celebrates empowerment and the unique abilities of each participant. Open to all ages and abilities, it warmly invites individuals to join a dynamic and supportive artistic community. 

Our centre is wheelchair friendly, and staff are trained to support people of all abilities. Carers and support workers attend free.

Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
