Details
This is a 7-week program starting 10 February, running every Monday from 5pm (excluding Monday 10 March due to the public holiday).
Have you noticed your child struggling with any of the following?
- Emotional regulation
- Maintaining focus
- Social interactions
- Low self-esteem
- Too much screentime
If the answer is yes to any of the above, this seven-week art therapy program may be beneficial.
Through the power of art making and the engagement with art materials, art therapy can help children improve emotional regulation, self-esteem, motor skills and foster social connection with others.
Different from an art class, art therapy is child-led and focuses on empowering children to express their emotions through an alternative outlet. This small group program is facilitated by a qualified Art Therapist, offering a range of materials and art making themes. The Art Therapist adapts the activities and materials based on participants’ therapeutic needs and material preferences, and remains attuned to their emotional states.
Suitable for children 7–10. Please bring art smock.
Please note, tickets will be on sale at 9am on Thursday 16 January 2025.
