This is an 8-week program starting 2 May running every Monday from 10am. No class on 13 June due to public holiday.

Delivered by WCIG Services this course focusses on developing basic English conversation skills.

Participants will develop an understanding of the language that is used for everyday conversations such as visit to the marketplace, meeting a stranger in the park, trying to find your way if one gets lost and more.

Participants will also develop familiarity with the Australian accent and common slang words that are used in everyday conversations through a series of role plays and other activities.

Participants will also develop basic digital skills such as understanding phone applications and basic computer skills.

They will also develop greater social connections and friendships as the course progresses.
