Did you know that bees are essential for the health of humans and the planet? These tiny insects are responsible for producing medicinal products with their honey and for pollinating the many different plants we eat.

Join our experienced beekeepers to learn how they and you can play a part in helping to maximise our bee population through bee keeping! In this interactive workshop you’ll be shown how to set up a beehive and how to collect bees wax as well as the ‘dark side of honey’.

You’ll also be shown how to make your own beeswax wraps, a sustainable alternative to plastic wrap to store your food items in.

All participants will be given beeswax to make your own wraps at home.
