Join experienced beekeeper Roger and learn how you can play a part in helping to maximise our bee population through beekeeping.

In this interactive workshop, you’ll be shown how to set up a beehive, how to collect beeswax and the dark side of honey, and how to make your own beeswax wraps so you can store food in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

Each participant will receive beeswax to take home.

Staff will take your details and tentatively reserve a place in your requested course/s.

To complete your booking, please complete an enrolment form (available at meltonsouth.org.au or at the centre) and make payment one of the following ways:

  • Credit card over the phone
  • Bank transfer/deposit (account details are given on request)

Students must also supply a photo or copy of their Medicare card and their concession card (where applicable) in order to confirm eligibility.

Enrolments MUST be completely finalised, including payment, no later than one week prior to the first session of the course. If this is not done, your place in the course will be forfeited.
