This course has been developed in partnership with Western Health as preparation for the role of Health Services Assistance.

The course will introduce you to aspects of the role of a Health Services Assistant and includes a five day work placement at one of Western Health’s campuses located in Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive the CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services.  You may also be offered a traineeship opportunity with Western Health leading to HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.

Many past participants who have successfully completed the course and gained a traineeship with Western Health have applied for on-going casual, part-time or full-time work across the three campuses.

Alternatively, this qualification may be used as a pathway qualification into a range of community services work.
