Oh, to be a kid again, playing and getting into mischief in the playground! With boundless energy comes the risk of injury. Empower your child with critical skills in our fun and interactive first aid class with our trainers from Cool Kids First Aid.
Over a 2-hour period your child will learn a variety of useful skills including:
- How to recognise an emergency situation
- How to call ‘000’
- An introduction to DRSABCD (CPR) principals of first aid
- Basic bleeding control
Each child will receive an individually named certificate of participation at the conclusion of the session.
These interactive and fun sessions are designed to equip children with the basics of what to do in an emergency and are designed on the current ARC (Australian Resuscitation Council and ANZCOR (Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation) guidelines. Among many other benefits, learning first aid can have the ability to develop your child’s communication and leadership skills, ensuring they can keep a level head when an emergency situation arises.
