Join us at Melton Central Community Centre as we share Christmas cake and a cuppa while you make your very own ‘salt dough’ Christmas tree ornaments. You will learn how to make the dough, make shapes, bake the ornaments and then decorate them in this relaxed and fun session.

Salt dough, a modelling material used by many families around the world to make ornaments and decorate Christmas trees, is made from flour, salt and water, ingredients we all have in our cupboards at home. Once you make and shape your dough, the creation can be dried in an oven or microwave for you to then decorate and seal before placing it on your festive tree for years to come.

Bring along a friend and get into the Christmas spirit while making some beautiful handmade decorations for your tree! Refreshments and morning tea snacks will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
