This art workshop introduces participants aged 16 and over to the captivating world of colour theory in art therapy.
Designed to enhance your artistic expression and promote emotional well-being, participants will delve into the psychological and emotional impact of different colours. Through engaging activities and discussions, you will learn about colour symbolism, the colour wheel, and their effects on mood, perception, and memory. You will have the opportunity to actively apply your understanding of colour theory by creating your own artworks, using acrylic paint on canvas boards, bold brush techniques, and colour combinations to convey and explore your individual emotions.
This workshop aims to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and creative confidence in the participants through a therapeutic approach to art.
