Knowing the basics of GST is vital for small business owners.

Join us for this informative online Zoom workshop, facilitated by a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), designed to improve your understanding and obligations when it comes to GST and BAS.

If you’re thinking of starting a business or are new to business, join other likeminded people who want to give their business the best start.

This workshop is free to attend for women aged over 16 years who have a connection to the City of Melton. It is being offered by the Multicultural Association of Community Empowerment (MACE) as part of their Women in Business and Entrepreneurship Project and is proudly supported by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing ‘Investing in Women Grassroots Grants Program’.

A Zoom link will be sent to participants on the day of the workshop.

Notice of road works affecting travel to Taylors Hill Youth & Community Centre.

Melton City Council is duplicating Hume Drive between Gourlay Road and Calder Park Drive by increasing the existing two lanes to four lanes with a new road median. Works have now commenced and are expected to conclude early in 2025.

Works will take place Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm and Saturday between 7am and 3:30pm. During the works, our intention is to keep the road open to traffic but there may be periods of time where there are reduced lanes and delays occur. We encourage road users to allow extra travel time and to use alternative routes if possible.
