Bookings for this program open Tuesday 5 September at 9am.

This is a 10- week program starting 2 October running every Monday from 6.15 pm (excluding 6 November).

Hatha is a style of yoga that brings more self-awareness to your practice, with a focus on matching the breath to body movements.

During the class your yoga teacher, Farran, will guide you through a series of postures that aim to improve your balance, flexibility, and strength. Farran’s class starts with a gentle warm up, followed by a series of guided poses, postures and breathing practices and ends with a short period of meditation to quieten the mind and rejuvenate the body.

Poses in this class include standing, seated and lying postures all benefiting different areas of the body. All poses can be modified to make them as easy or as challenging as is suitable for your body.

The class is kept small with a maximum of 10 participants allowing for individual attention. It is non-competitive and suitable for anyone, regardless of age or fitness level and caters for beginners through to advanced practitioners.

As an instructor, Farran adopts a relaxed teaching style while still adhering to the traditional yogic practices. She works to create a fun and relaxing environment for her students away from the stresses of everyday life.  Farran responds to students’ needs and wants when developing her routines to ensure they incorporate the things they enjoy or would like to work on.

Farran’s hope for her students is that they achieve a stronger more peaceful mind, body and soul.

Please bring along a yoga mat to each session and wear comfortable clothes.
