Course Details

When looking for new employment opportunities, it can be challenging to know where to look for jobs or how to apply. Even if you have those things worked out, how do you maximise your chances with a strong resume or refined interview skills?

And if English is not your first language how do you navigate the complexity of professional language expectations at the workplace?

This pilot job readiness program delivered by WCIG Employment Services is aimed at our local culturally and linguistically diverse communities. An Arabic speaking interpreter will be in attendance to support the tutor in content delivery for smoother learning for participants.

The course will cover the below areas, focusing on jobs that will likely become available in the local area in the coming months

  • How to look for employment opportunities
  • How to build a strong resume
  • How to apply for jobs
  • Tips and tricks for a successful interview

New employment opportunities are constantly becoming available in the Melton area. Ensuring you are ready to apply will give you the best chance of securing work when you need it most.

This course will be delivered online. Interested participants will need to register via this website. Upon registration you will be sent a link to join the call. Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the completion of the program.
