Kids in the Kitchen is returning in Term 2 at the Kurunjang Community Hub! This is a 5-week program starting 8 May every Monday from 4.30pm. No class 12 June due to Public Holiday.

In this hand on cooking program, kids will learn to prepare and make a range of delectable meals and snacks including:

• Wellington (vegetarian) with veggies
• Japanese Ramen (chicken and vegetarian)
• Yaki Onigiri (fish and vegetarian)
• Stir fried prawn and zucchini with rice (vegetarian with eggplant)
• Bread & butter pudding with ice cream

Your child will take home their own copy of each recipe along with their newly learnt skills that they can share with their family and friends!

This program offers a friendly and supportive environment where children are encouraged to expand their food horizons.

Recipes used during the program will include a range of fruits, vegetables and meat, chicken and seafood, and will generally contain dairy, nuts, gluten, wheat and egg.  Please contact us about participating in this class if your child has food allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements to ensure we can plan meals with these needs in mind.
