Details

This is a 5-week program starting 9 March, running every Wednesday from 3pm.

Students in primary schools around the area are welcome to join our new ‘Reading Club’ program which focuses on the four pillars of literacy – reading, writing, speaking and listening. Facilitated by Vinnies Education with an aim to help a range of students from various backgrounds, cultures and with differing learning needs.

This program assists students with literacy and numeracy, as well as general social, emotional and academic support.  This holistic approach helps to improve overall educational outcomes on a friendly and non-formal learning environment. The education program team aims to improve the learning skills and attitudes of students, increase confidence when interacting with adult volunteers and peers, encourage collaboration, promote social inclusion, develop a growth mindset and showcase best learning practices, while having fun at each of the different learning stations.

All primary aged children welcome. All equipment supplied.
