How can creativity invite a different way of being in our lives?
Work with art therapist Andrea Neresian in this unique workshop inspired Jungian psychology principals and Julie Zapasa’s current exhibition Anima Animus. This is not your average art class, but an opportunity to embrace your curiosity and creativity and learn how art making can be a useful tool for learning about ourselves. This workshop will focus on exploring your own individual self-expression without emphasis on the final product and provide you with an insight into how art making can be a valuable tool for maintaining personal wellbeing and strengthening an understanding of our selves.
“Journeying between earth and heaven, joining one to the other, the soul understands the language of poetry, the language of metaphor, which integrates the image with feeling, mind and imagination. The metaphor, or the symbol, heals because it speaks to the total person. For this reason, Jung believed that the contemplation of dream images was the pathway to wholeness…. without the metaphor, the mind may be fed but the imagination and heart go hungry.”-Marion Woodman
