This is a 6-week program starting 21 July, running every Wednesday from 10am.

If you or someone you care for are on an NDIS plan, this 6-week education program may assist you to improve your knowledge and skills around the NDIS program and how it can benefit you. Through a series of workshops you’ll learn about a range of topics including:

  • NDIS process and NDIA structure
  • NDIS funding categories
  • Understanding an NDIS plan
  • Allied health professionals
  • Service agreements
  • Privacy and complaints
  • Australia’s welfare system
  • Digital literacy

All equipment and light refreshments provided.

To be eligible to participate in this program you must have been born overseas and be willing to fill in a questionnaire at the start and end of this 6 week program. Assistance available.

This program is delivered by ADEC (Action on Disability in Ethnic Communities) are specialists in supporting people from ethnic backgrounds, providing free programs to improve overall health and wellbeing and empowering people living with a disability, those who are frail, their families and carers.
