To celebrate Neighbour Day, we are commissioning a community mural, and you can be the artist! Council is pleased to invite you to contribute to this special artwork under the theme ‘What makes you belong to the Caroline Springs community?’  

From Monday 29 January you can visit Stevenson House during business hours to collect a piece of material and art supplies to decorate it with. Return your decorated piece to the centre anytime up until Wednesday 13 March. All individual pieces will be sewn together by our in-house sewing program participants to form a collective design. A community morning tea event will be held on Thursday 28 March at Stevenson House to unveil the completed project.  

The design is completely up to you allowing you to fully express your ideas and creative flair. Participants are encouraged to plan their designs thoughtfully, aligning it with the overarching theme. Explore the essence of what makes you feel connected to the Caroline Springs community before creating your vision onto the provided material. 

Community groups, schools, sporting groups, local businesses, and all other interested parties are invited to participate in this joint project. Any enquiries relating to the project and how to get involved can be directed to Nicole at Stevenson House
