This is a NEW 9-week online Zoom program starting 28 April running every Thursday from 10-11am.

Restore your mind and body with this hatha inspired yoga class designed to calm your body, mind and spirit through exercise, breathing and relaxation.

Yoga is a well-respected practice that can provide many health benefits, including improved flexibility, posture, strength, sleep quality, concentration, focus, cardiovascular health and reduction in stress and anxiety.

Delivered by our experienced and passionate yoga instructor Alicia, this class has been especially designed to extend, stretch, unwind, and release tension while strengthening and promoting flexibility in the body. Classes start with a gentle warm up, followed by a series of guided poses, postures and breathing practices ending with a short period of relaxation to quieten the mind and rejuvenate the body.

Poses in this class will include standing and seated postures, balancing, lateral and forward bending, all benefiting different areas of the body. All poses can be modified to make them as easy or as challenging as is suitable for your unique body and individual requirements.

You will need access to a device, (compatible with Zoom), and internet to attend the online class. A Zoom meeting link will be provided for the duration of the term once your enrolment has been completed.
