Details

This is a 7-week program beginning 9 February running every Friday from 12.30pm.

Whether you’re new to quilting or a keen, experienced crafter, our relaxed quilting program welcomes all abilities!

Guided by Bridget, our experienced teacher, you’ll master both hand and machine quilting techniques including blanket stitch appliqué, foundation piecing, quilting the quilt and binding.

Beginners will work on a sampler quilt while those with more experience can choose their own projects to work through with Bridget’s support. You’ll be provided with a list of materials to purchase prior to the commencement of the program.

Quilting lets you unplug from the modern world, improving your brain’s function by playing with colour and geometry whilst the physical act of quilting relieves stress. This community of like-minded individuals looks forward to welcoming you!

Tea, coffee, and good company provided. BYO sewing machine and quilting materials.
