Details

Life presents many different circumstances, and as you age it’s important to ensure that you have planned to cover future circumstances.

This ‘Planning Ahead’ session delivered by Seniors Rights Victoria presents information in a simple and interactive way on choosing a decision maker, having conversations about planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and medical decision-making.

Seniors Rights Victoria provides free information, support, advice, and education to help prevent elder abuse and safeguard the rights, dignity, and independence of older people.

A free ‘Take Control’ kit is provided to all participants. Family members and carers are welcome to attend. Registrations are essential.

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major state-wide festival for Victorians over 60 that is designed to bring seniors together to enjoy themselves, learn new skills and make new friends. Visit Council’s website for more information.
