Join us to Celebrate Cultural Diversity Week at our free Ramadan craft session!  

Immerse yourself in Muslim Culture as you are guided to create a variety of traditional Ramadan crafts. You can choose to try a range of different craft projects or focus on the one that interests you most.  

Did you know Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims? During its 29 to 30 days, Muslim people fast every day from sunrise to sunset. The community then comes together in the evenings to share a meal together once the sun has gone down. The month also focuses on doing acts of kindness, praying and taking the time for self-reflectiveness. 

Anyone regardless of age, ability, faith, or interest is welcome to join us. 

Cultural Diversity Week will be celebrated from 18-24 March and recognises the rich cultural diversity of everyone who calls Australia home – from the Traditional Owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
