This is a 10-week program beginning 1 February running every Tuesday from 10am.

Whether you’re a beginner wanting to learn simple sewing techniques or an experienced seamstress, our Sewing for Everyone classes are perfect for any sewing ability.

These sewing sessions provide the opportunity for participants to learn how to read patterns, sew zips, button holes, hem items and gain confidence in other sewing techniques whilst working on different projects tailored to your own skill level in a fun and friendly environment.

New participants will be provided with a list of essential items to bring to the first class.

Participants are required to bring their own sewing machine (limited machines available for the interim if required for beginners).

Health Guidelines for this Event

Other Health Guidelines In line with the Victorian Government's Covid-19 vaccination rules, anyone aged 18 years and over planning to attend a Council delivered program held within councils community facilities must provide proof of vaccination status upon entry to the facility. Individuals with valid medical exemptions issued by an authorised medical practitioner and children aged under 18 years are excluded from this rule.
