This group meets every Wednesday during school terms, commencing 4 October at 10am.
The Stevenson House Garden is a place where people can work together to grow fresh produce and maintain the gardens surrounding the centre. Here you can connect with like-minded people in the community, share ideas and build some active hours into your week.
The aim of the group is to teach a variety of gardening skills, build your knowledge on a number of gardening techniques including, propagation, drought and frost resistance, planting for the right season, weed management and loads more in a fun and relaxed format.
The group will develop a gardening plan to ensure that there is a clear vision for the space that caters for the needs of the whole community. Additionally, several gardening workshops will be delivered to increase your overall gardening knowledge.
