Are you a young story teller? What if you had the opportunity to share your story with the ABC?

Takeover Melbourne is an exciting competition calling for stories from people aged 12 -18 years in the City of Melton and we want to hear from you!

We’re supporting local young people to create a competition entry piece by hosting a free story writing 101 workshop with the help of producers from the ABC themselves!

By the end of the workshop you will gain a wealth of advice and inspiration from the Takeover team to help to create a strong entry. Stories can be in any format including text, video or audio, whatever your specialty is! Entries must be a true story about an aspect of your life.

Winners will get to work with ABC producers to have their story featured on the ABC, you’ll get a look behind the scenes at the ABC, have the chance to meet a bunch of interesting people and learn about how to make change in your community.

All required equipment will be provided on the day. Bookings are essential as spaces are limited. Book today to avoid disappointment!
