Getting Connected sessions are available throughout term 1 2022 every Friday from 4 February between 11.30am and 12.30pm.

Are you interested in becoming more digitally connected? Do you want to learn how to use your device to create connections with others? If this sounds like you, join us at one or both of our Getting Connected sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to spend time with a digital mentor, ask questions and get the information you need to make the most of your device.

Getting Connected sessions are focused purely on the information you personally need. This may include how to use a range of different platforms to get you connected with your friends, family, community and special interest groups. You might like to learn how to use Facetime or ZOOM to chat online with people, access social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram, search for and enrol in local programs and activities with the Melton Learning Directory, participate in an online course or social group, the possibilities are endless!

These sessions are delivered by a digital mentor and or a Melton City Council staff member who is passionate about sharing their knowledge of online connection opportunities. They are not an IT expert and IT specific support cannot be provided.

Bookings are not required for these relaxed sessions, just drop in and join us, however, feel free to contact the centre before you visit to ensure these sessions are suited to your needs.

BYO your own device such as a mobile phone, tablet or laptop. Wi-Fi is available. No device, no worries, we have desktop computers that can be used during the session.
