This is a 7-week program starting 5 February running every Monday from 9.15am, excluding 11 March.
Relax your mind and move your body in our Yoga for fitness program. Improve your flexibility, muscle strength and tone, respiration, energy and vitality.
Our experienced yoga instructor is passionate about the many benefits practicing Yoga can provide and ensures all participants are moving their body to their own individual ability. In Leisa’s sessions you’ll be guided through a series of basic yoga asanas (or postures) which can be adapted to suit all abilities. The session will conclude a short period of meditation to quieten your mind.
This ancient form of exercise boasts numerous health benefits for those who practice regularly including
- maintaining a balanced metabolism,
- weight reduction,
- cardiovascular and circulatory health,
- improved athletic performance
- protection from injury
