This is a 9-week program commencing 7 October running every Saturday from 9.15am (excluding 21 Oct)
Women often undergo a range of physical and emotional changes during the menopause transition.
Not only does yoga provide a variety of general health benefits as you age, it can also help women to understand and manage the typical symptoms associated with menopause such as stress, physical pain, mood swings and trouble sleeping.
This 10-week program aims to support women to cope with the symptoms that they may be facing through a unique combination of yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindful meditation practices.
Delivered by our experienced instructor Smita, this program will support you to better understand how to:
- Best utilise yoga for menopause symptoms
- Maintain bone and muscular strength as your hormones change, and
- Use your yoga practice to be more self-loving and compassionate as your body and mind adjust to menopause
This class is suitable for all abilities and differing levels of yoga experience. BYO yoga mat.
