Calling all aspiring community leaders!
Are you interested in upskilling in matters of cyber, home and road safety? Would you like to share your new learnings with other residents from Rockbank and Aintree? Then this program is for you!
We are looking for community members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to become volunteer community safety ambassadors. Community Safety Ambassadors passionately believe in the safety of all and are ready to be actively engaged in guiding others.
Ambassadors will have the opportunity to participate in workshops run by Victoria Police, Neighbourhood Watch and Melton City Council. From this you will be supported to share your learnings with the rest of the community.
Applications to become a community safety ambassador are open to all residents of Rockbank and Aintree. To apply to become an ambassador please email Timbertop Children’s & Community Centre, details below. Applications close 20 April.
Community Safety Ambassadors must be available to attend workshops at Timbertop Children’s & Community Centre on the below dates.
- Saturday 8 May: 10am – 12pm
- Thursday 13 May: 6pm to 7pm
- Saturday 22 May: 10am – 12pm
- Saturday 5 June: 10am – 12pm
