Lifelong Learning for Everyone
Lifelong learning refers to the ongoing pursuit of knowledge both inside and outside of formal education institutions. The learning activities you undertake, whether for professional or personal development, can enhance your social inclusion, employability, active citizenship, competitiveness, self-sustainability, adaptability, resilience, ability to take advantage of opportunities and more.

Programs, Social Groups & More
Throughout the year, the Melton Learning Directory offers many opportunities to undertake lifelong, life-wide and life-deep learning ventures through a variety of mediums including but not limited to one-off and recurring programs, community groups, social activities, classes, community events and forums and more.

Face to Face & Online
The way you prefer to learn can be as diverse as the community we live in. As such, the Melton Learning Directory delivers learning opportunities through both face to face programs, activities, events and more at Council’s Community Activity & Learning (CA&L) centres and libraries as well as online through our YouTube channel, Facebook page and more.
