This is a brand-new program starting 27 April running fortnightly on Saturdays.
Looking for more intensity in your Yoga sessions? Our brand new Ashtanga Yoga program requires physical strength, flexibility, and endurance. This style of Yoga includes a series of poses linked together with breath to form a continuous sequence. While it is a very physical practice, it also promotes mental clarity and inner peace.
Benefits of practicing regular yoga are wide-ranging, including
- Increased stamina,
- Improved bone density and muscle strength,
- Increased control of your bodyweight
- Lowered blood pressure stress.
Non-physical benefits of Yoga may include boosting mental clarity, creating mental calmness and developing better concentration in daily life.
Our volunteer tutor Shilpa is a qualified yoga instructor who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise with the community.
