As part of our Intercultural Plan, Melton City Council organises a series of community profiles to facilitate a better understanding of different community groups residing in the City of Melton.

The Iraqi Community Profile is an opportunity for the Melton community to learn more about the growing Iraqi Community and how to engage with them more effectively.

The image is an inscription on the wall of the plaster on the walls is Mustansiriya University in Baghdad, which is the oldest university in the world, founded in the Abbasid era around the year 1227 AD.
