Children with an interest in dance are invited to come and give Hip Hop dancing a go for this 7-week program staring on Monday 2nd May at Bridge Road Children & Community Centre. Learn hip hop dance moves and combinations each week to upbeat music with a final performance at the end. Class does not run 13 June due to public holiday.

This popular dance style allows children to develop their expressive abilities in a positive learning environment whilst making new friends in their local area.

  • 4pm – 4:30pm: ages 1-2 years Toddlers & Parents / ages 3-4 years Kinder Tots Hip-Hop
  • 4.45pm – 5.30pm: ages 5-12 years Junior Hip-Hop

Parents or guardians for the Toddlers & Parents are required to attend the class with their child to help your child to get the most out of the class.

Parents or guardians for the Kinder Tots are required to be in the class as a spectator to help your child to get the most out of the class.

Parents or guardians for the Junior Hip Hop children’s classes are required to stay for the duration of the session but are encouraged to have a cup of tea or coffee in the next room to allow the children to fully immerse themselves in the teachings.

Bookings for this program will be available from 9am on Tuesday 22nd March 2022.

Other Health Guidelines PLEASE NOTE In line with the Victorian Government's Covid-19 vaccination rules, anyone aged 12 years and over planning to attend a Council delivered program held within councils community facilities must provide proof of vaccination status upon entry to the facility. Individuals with valid medical exemptions issued by an authorised medical practitioner and children aged under 12 years are excluded from this rule. Masks are not required to be worn in Council facilities where physical distancing can be maintained.
