The Jitterbugs Music & Dance Program is active and fun. Each session includes a variety of props and a combination of active movement songs as well as sitting, listening and recovery times. Each session ends with a stamp for each child and an activity sheet to take home.

The program provides learning opportunities and skill development including (but not limited to):

  • Listening and following directions
  • Developing concentration and co-ordination
  • Fine and Gross Motor Skill development
  • Interaction and Awareness of Others and Personal Space

Some of the fun themes the children can explore include:

  • Light & Heavy
  • Ribbons & Rainbows
  • Up In Space
  • Magical Fun

All music, props and activities are age appropriate and suitable for toddlers and pre-kinder aged children and can be adjusted to suit multi aged groups. The Jitterbugs program is not only fun and energetic for boys and girls, it also provides opportunities for learning through play with weekly themes and general Music & Dance activities.

Jitterbugs is very much aware of the importance of physical activity and skill development for all children. The great thing about this program is that we combine music, props, dancing, and action songs so the children are moving, learning, and developing all while having lots of fun!

Suitable for children aged 2 – 5 years.
