Fun, engaging and low-pressure, this activity is geared towards girls and boys aged 9 -12. No prior coding experience is required. Kids will be using the programming language Scratch to complete the mini challenges.

All activities are aimed to create an inclusive learning opportunity with activities able to be completed within a few hours over the week and easily be scaled up or down to suit your child’s skills and abilities. All online sessions and group discussions will be recorded and made available if your child is not able to attend one of the online sessions.

At the end of the program, kids will have a chance to submit their work and go in the running to win a robotic kit.

Who is this event suitable for?

  • Girls and boys aged 9-12. No prior coding experience required
  • If your child is a little younger than the suggested age range and they are experienced coders, they can sign up for this activity

This program is proudly supported by the City of Melton Libraries Team, if oversubscribed priority will be given to Parents and Kids residing in the City of Melton.
