Details

This is a 7-week program beginning 2 May running every Monday from 7pm – 9:30pm. Class does not run 13 June due to public holiday.

Relax and enjoy the company of fellow quilters in our patchwork quilting program.

Guided by Bridget, our experienced teacher, participants will master both hand and machine quilting techniques including blanket stitch appliqué, foundation piecing, quilting the quilt and binding.

Beginners will work on a sampler quilt while those with more experience can choose their own projects to work through with the teachers support. Participants will be provided with a list of materials to purchase prior to the commencement of the program.

Quilting lets you unplug from the modern world, playing with colour and geometry is good for your brain and the physical act of quilting relieves stress. Come along and enjoy this community of like-minded individuals.

Tea, coffee and good company provided. Bring along your sewing machine and quilting materials with a list provided ahead of the term commencing.
