Help! Some of our favourite story book characters have gone missing within our suburbs and we need your help finding them!

Grab your map, put your walking shoes on and get set to explore.

‘Spot the Character’ Scavenger Hunts have been set up around a selection of Council’s community centres in celebration of Children’s Week 2021. Explore these centres to help locate our missing friends:

  • Aintree: Timbertop Children’s & Community Centre – Jack and the Beanstalk
  • Caroline Springs: Stevenson House – Possum Magic
  • Eynesbury: Eynesbury Discovery Centre – Who Sank the Boat
  • Fraser Rise: Fraser Rise Children’s & Community Centre – Where the Wild Things Are
  • Harkness: Arnolds Creek Children’s & Community Centre – Maisy Goes To The Museum
  • Kurunjang: Kurunjang Community Hub – Peter Rabbit and Friends
  • Melton: Melton Central Community Centre – The Hungry Caterpillar
  • Strathtulloh: Bridge Road Children’s & Community Centre – Harry Potter
  • Taylors Hill: Taylors Hill Youth & Community Centre – Hairy Maclary

Round up all the missing characters in your local area and go into the draw to win one of three $50 Coles vouchers*.

Spot the Character Scavenger Hunts will be running from Tuesday 26 October until Sunday 31 October. Complete the hunt in your own time at a centre located near you. This is a family friendly activity and is open to children of all ages.

To join in the fun of Children’s Week register for this free activity to receive your scavenger hunt kit via email.

Registration for kits close 5pm, Friday 29 October.

*Completed entries must be received by 5pm Sunday 31 October to be included in the voucher draw.
